I ate swordfish while I was fighting the Revenant. I turned to prayer and then ran. However, the prayer was not working! The freeze spell was too powerful. Even though I had plenty of swordfish, praying and trying to run away was not able to escape the Revenant's freeze spell. I was panicking, but the prayer ended the spell of freezing. I ran from the Wilderness, far from the Revenant.
Att/str/def/hp was about. 70 each. It was said that range and mage must be used on Revenants. Therefore, I packed the finest mage stuff (Orb Project complete costume and a magic staff), lots of runes, Earth Blast, lots of prayer points full inventory, and even an emergency (1 water+3 law+1 law) Falador Teleport. I was prepared to travel to Dark Warrior's Fortress. I kept an eye out for Revenants and was prepared to defend myself with mage+prayer, if necessary.
In Dark Warrior's Fortress, there was a warning that a Level 53 Revenant was coming through the halls. I tried to prepare Earth Blast by turning on prayer. The Revenant was hitting 15HP at a time! I ran through 8 squares and continued to pray however the Revenant was hitting 10-15 HP each round even when it was far away from me. I was just too busy to eat to replenish the HP lost. Mage isn't the best way to fight Revenants.
The panic that I felt when I realized that mage wasn't the best option didn't aid my mouse-clicking. I struggled to use Earth Blast upon the Revenant while trying to eat something. Now, the Revenant was hitting for 20 HP. I tried to use the emergency Falador Teleport mouse but it didn't work! I finally reached Falador with 6 HP. It was such a relief that I took the Falador runes to Teleport! The moral of this story is to stay clear of Wilderness & its Revenants if you're F2P. (With possible exception of the dash for Fist of Guthix.
