Romain Grosjean said he had the worst Friday of his Formula One career at the Singapore Grand Prix after an engine issue and a spin limited his running to 14 laps over two sessions.Grosjean completed just two laps in first practice before an engine inlet air leak brought his session to an early end. In second practice he completed another 12 laps before losing control of the rear of his Haas in the final corner and hitting the barriers on the exit.It was the worst Friday of my Formula One career, Ive never known worse than that, he said. We had a problem with the power unit in the morning. In the afternoon we went out and straight away I didnt feel comfortable in the car.We had some issues on the brakes, some stability problems and eventually spin the car and touched the rear wing and the suspension was touched as well so we had to retire. Very tricky because I couldnt do the back-to-back with the new parts. I dont know what has changed on the car but it definitely wasnt suiting me well today. Both Haas drivers were running new upgrades aimed at improving the stability of the rear of the car, but Grosjean is not convinced they were having the desired effect. We dont know. The car was very weird in some places and very, very unpredictable so we dont know if its related to updates or something else on top of other problems we had.I had the understeer but I had some massive oversteer as well like the floor was giving up or something like that, which is why I spun. We just need to check everything and make sure there is no wrong parts on the car or wrong set-up. Custom Blues T-shirts .ca NBA Power Rankings, ahead of the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.
