East back after the Eagles briefly took the top spot by beating the hapless Giants on Thursday night. Beating the Panthers after get smashed by the Saints was almost expected at this point of our roller coaster season. The Redskins host the NFL’s only other true roller coaster team this week http://www.redskinsfootballauthentics.com/josh-norman-jersey-authentic , the hated Dallas Cowboys. One of the W-L-W-L flip-floppers will break that pattern this week, and we’re all hoping it’s the good guys. The Redskins continue to confuse everyone this season with their hot/cold streak. The Panthers win moved them up in a lot of rankings, but their average has returned to their season high from two weeks ago. Getting two wins in a row, and a win over a division rival right behind them in the standings will answer a lot of questions. A loss drops them back into the WTF is this team category.Where should this year’s Washington Redskins team be ranked?Highest Ranking: W1: 14 W2: 8 W3: 12 W4: 7 W5: 7 W6: 13 W7: 9Lowest Ranking: W1: 26 W2: 23 W3: 27 W4: 20 W5: 19 W6: 20 W7: 20Average Ranking: W1: 20.5 W2: 15.5 W3: 22.7 W4: 15.1 W5: 14.3 W6: 16.4 W7: 14.39. OddsSharkLast Week: 17With The Jets On Deck, Whose Stock Is Rising And Who Needs To Bounce Back? In less than a week following the Redskins pre-season opener against the New England Patriots, there has been a significant deal of change since the final whistle. On the field, there were surprise performances for better or worse and even unfortunate injuries that have taken place that resulted in better positioning for other players who may not have been projected as a candidate for the final 53-man roster. Even some players who did not play gave way to other players at the bottom of the depth chart to see significant snaps against New England. The injuries to rookie Derrius Guice and second-year wide receiver Robert Davis have knocked them out for the 2018 season, leaving openings at their position to be filled. Also http://www.redskinsfootballauthentics.com/trent-williams-jersey-authentic , the absence of starters in the secondary allowed third and fourth string players to see significant snaps Thursday. Who all had stocks rise and fall heading into the New York Jets match-up?Rising Stock:鈥?Cam Sims – Playmaker mentality can attack the football and thinks “score” when the ball is in his hands. Added value to a receiving group. With Robert Davis down, he may be a serious contender for the final roster.鈥?Tim Settle – Settle played lights out in his debut. Despite admitting that his conditioning is not where it needs to be, he left many with a great impression with his strength and motor at the nose tackle position. 鈥?Colt McCoy – McCoy led the Redskins to 17 first-half points in an efficient manner. He displayed accuracy in the short to intermediate level throws while being able to elude rushers and throw on the run on multiple occasions, solidifying the belief from coaches he is one of the better back-ups in the league.鈥?Kapri Bibbs / Byron Marshall– Both Bibbs and Marshall showed good acceleration and explosiveness at times when touching the football. Bibbs had the longest rush of the night late in the game, and Marshall had the longest receiving touchdown of the night. Marshall showed why he is a viable option in the passing game. Both are worth keeping around when the season comes around. 鈥?Greg Stroman/Shaun Dion Hamilton – Stroman was impressive in coverage and showed his natural punt-return abilities in his debut. Hamilton was all over the field defensively making tackles for his unit. Both being late round draft picks for Washington, and if they can pay off for the Redskins, this would be a significant thing moving forward for the defense.Falling Stock:鈥?Samaje Perine – Outside of Derrius Guice, Perine had the most impressive runs of the night. He displayed the strength and power that many expected him to play with his rookie season. However http://www.redskinsfootballauthentics.com/ryan-kerrigan-jersey-authentic , it was not all pretty. For Perine, 2017 was all about ball security, as he had fumbling issues throughout the season. He fumbled in his first exhibition game of 2018, and whether or not the whistle was blown dead, this is not the right way to start a season when being evaluated by coaches.鈥?Geron Christian – Yes it was his first game, but Christian did not have an impressive or even adequate performance against New England. To be selected in the third round for Washington, he has a long ways to go.鈥?Brian Quick/Trey Quinn – I firmly believe that either Quick or Quinn will make the roster when it is all said and done. The issue here is that Quick did not play Thursday and Quinn was knocked out of the game early. From the outside looking in, there is no telling if Quick’s absence from week one was because he was favored by coaches or not. However http://www.redskinscheapstore.com/morgan-moses-jersey-cheap , Quick missing time is not good if younger guys like Maurice Harris and Cam Simms can continue to perform. Trey Quinn’s injury is a reason his stock has dropped in my eyes. Not a significant drop, but without being able to show what he can do in-game it is hard to say he is one-up on any receiver on the team.鈥?Kevin Hogan – It was a tough performance for the DC-local. While he was under center in the second half, the offense went scoreless, produced less than 100 yards, and had a turnover deep in New England territory. If he is a developmental project, he has to improve his play drastically in weeks to come.Who are you looking forward to seeing in their upcoming matchup against the Jets?
